Julieth Armas Julieth Armas is the newest addition to the Carlos del Amo, P.A. family. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Thomas University School of Law in May 2011. She received her Baccalaureate Degree in Liberal Arts from Florida Gulf Coast University in May 2008 where she majored in Philosophy and minored in Economics. Julieth is a lawyer waiting admittance to the Florida Bar. Until then, she is a talented law clerk researching legal issues relevant to our practice. Julieth also assists in drafting legal memorandums, motions, and discovery; all under the direct supervision of Carlos del Amo.

Yaumara Ballester Yaumara Ballester-Moreno has been our full charge bookkeeper and office manager since 2004. She has a degree in Accounting from The School of Business and Economic Studies Ramon Paz Borroto in Habana, Cuba. She is fluent in Spanish and English. Yaumara’s personnel management skills, winning personality and operational resourcefulness make her an invaluable member of our team.

Mirka Del Amo Mirka del Amo has worked for Carlos del Amo, P.A. for 15 years. She started as a bookkeeper, office manager and legal assistance in the real estate department. Now Mirka full time job is to address our clients' concerns. If a client calls with an emergency after hours, she gets that call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Mirka can address our client's concern faster than any other person at Carlos del Amo, P.A. Why? because she has 24 hour access to the owner of the firm, her husband. |

Lorena Merlo Lorena Merlo has worked at the Law Office of Carlos del Amo, P.A. since 2004. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the real estate matters. Lorena works primarily on real estate closings. She is also our personal injury protection paralegal. Over the years, Carlos del Amo, P.A. has developed a volume practice in real estate closings. However, Lorena gives each client the personal attention he/she deserves. Like all our staff, she is fully bilingual. |

Lazaro Otano Lazaro Otano is our receptionist and legal assistant since October, 2009. Lazaro has great communication skills and is fully bilingual. He ensures that our client's communications reach their intended target and that all inquiries are answered within 24 hours. Lazaro is currently training to be an additional pre-litigation paralegal. However, his primary responsibility is client relations. Carlos del Amo, P.A. takes pride in providing timely, efficient and successful responses to our client's legal needs. Lazaro in an important part of insuring we meet and surpass our client's expectations. |

Alina Puig Alina D. Puig has been a paralegal/legal assistant for 19 years. She has been Carlos del Amo's right hand for the last 12 years. During this time she has worked on personal injury, family law and foreclosure cases. She is the litigation paralegal and has handled complex litigation and highly contested divorces. Most recently she has entered the area of foreclosures. Alina has great communication skills. She is the supervisor of the litigation department and a great liaison between the clients and the attorneys. As with all our staff, she is fully bilingual. As if that is not enough, Alina is also a full time mom to Daniella Puig and Ethan and a wonderful wife to Fernando Puig. |
